Ciate - Loop the Loop

Hello there everyone!!
Today's swatch is actually a polish I have shown before, but because my last swatch was somewhat horrific and I also really felt like wearing this one again before Summer ends, I decided to do a new swatch of it!!
Loop the Loop is a pale yellow from Ciate's Fairground Collection, which consists of pastels and glitters. It is a little sheer, so I have used three coats. No top coat.
Their bottles are so cute! Drying time and application in general are no problem.
I really love this pastel yellow!
I probably shouldn't show you, but here you see how bad my cuticles were last time I swatched Loop the Loop ;)
Thanks for reading!

Sally Hansen - Fuzzy Coat - Peach Fuzz

Hi there!
Gosh, time in moving fast! Yet again it wasn't my intention that I should have like a 5 day break from the blog. Anyways, I got this loverly Fuzzy Coat polish from Sally Hansen from Matas. It's a clear polish with yellow and orange bars in it. You need three coats to get full coverage, and I have realised I might could have used a fourth coat...nevermind that, here it is :)

I tried to wear Peach Fuzz over Ciate Loop the Loop, but I didn't really like it, and I found that this one looks prettiest on its' own. The bottle is packed with the bars, so it's not difficult to apply. It just takes some time since you want the coats to dry before applying the next. It comes out very even, except my index finger.. That one became a little bumpy.. But I came to like this polish. When I just looked at the bottle I didn't think that it looked appealing to me, but I was surprised with it!
You can buy this in Matas for 89.95 DKK. Limited Edition :)

Take care & thanks for reading!

Dino Egg? Vitamin Sea with dots !

Today is Monday Blues - I had a really nice monday though!
This will not be a super long post, but surely we needed some blue today.
It's Sally Hansen's Vitamin Sea (clickey me)  which I showed you a couple of weeks ago and Sally Hansen Tahitian Sunset (see swatch) on top as dots. I know this will sound super weird, but these two colors gave an almost hallucinating look when used together like this. You now, like when you look on a certain type of pattern and your eyes trick your mind. This slightly had that effect, but it wasn't transferred into the pictures. At least I got a little confused looking at it sometimes! haha

I imagine dino eggs would have this kind of look, so therefore these are my dino eggs! Silly...  But no one knows!
Anyways, have a look see on the other blues of today !

China Glaze - Highlight Of My Summer

HI dear readers!
I am not dead!!! I just really neglected the blog the past week, didn't I? I was just very busy packing things and getting settled at my new home. Now I'm ready to get on a roll on again! Oh yeah.
Okay so I found the gorgeous China Glaze Highlight Of My Summer on sale, so you know I had to buy it. It's from their Sunsational Summer Collection 2013, which I believe was called Neons At The Shore at first for some reason. I bought it along with another China Glaze, also from their Sunsational Summer Collection. It is a really great collection! I really like all the colors (some better than others of course), but I had to control myself, so I only bought two. I will swatch the other one I got another day..
I really knew when I saw Highlight Of My Summer for the first time that I had to track it down. So happy it's mine now! See it!
This is really a perfect summer color...I really do say this about a lot of polishes don't I? ... But it is!
It's a pale green/mint neon creme. It doesn't have a glossy finish, but not a matte finish either, a thing there inbetween! Semi matte, I guess? I couldn't stop taking pictures of it because I love it so.

Highlight Of My Summer and the other China Glaze I bought are actually my first China Glazes, and I must say I am not a big fan of their brushes!! It's so small which makes application a bit streaky, but after a second coat it outevens. On the next picture you can see how it looks with only 1 coat.
And on the nexts I have used 2 coats and no top coat.
And I found a little Four Banded Longhorn Bettle! haha
Below is a little comparison of how the polish looks in the shade and in direct sunlight.
I looove this color! It really stands out, and in the evening when it's almost dark it still pops. I really like the semi-matte look too.
Well, see you soon again, cuz I got sum catchin' up!

Barry M - Blue Grape

Hello out there and happy Monday Blues!
I had looked forward to show you this PERFECT blue from Barry M, Blue Grape, but I know already now that I will have to do a repost of this polish some other time. I broke a nail this morning on a kitchen drawer, and had to shorten all my nails. Sigh. And I really couldn't get a lot of satisfying pictures of it. I will try again another time ;) But now, will you look at this vibrant blue?? Most vibrant blue at current date in living memory.

I have used two coats and no top coat. There is still a little nail line slightly visible. Really not that much that I would do a third coat. On the picture just above you can see it on my index finger, but that's just because the light shines through and nothing you really can avoid.
The polish is one of Barry M's Gelly Hi Shine polishes and it really is shiny!

Thanks for reading and take care until next time!

The Painting Incident ?

Hey again ;)
I wanted to do a plastic wrap design using 3 colors, and figured that black ,white and purple would look good together. I wanted the black to be in focus, so I only dapped on the white and purple on some of the nail. I think the end result looks like an abstract painting or something like that.

This would look great if I had a purple top to go along with it, but to my regret I found that the only purple clothing I own is a pair of purple jeans. It's too hot to wear long trousers atm though...so much useless information ;D

As you can figure I started with a coat of black polish, covering the whole nail. Then I used a piece of Saran/Plastic wrap (or in British: cling film) to dap on the white and the purple.
I really love using plastic wrap for nail designs. You can make some really cool designs with it and it's so super easy and takes no time.
These are the products used: (links below)

That was all for today, thank you for reading! If you want to follow me on Facebook rather than here, you're welcome ;) Link to my Facebook page

Maybelline Colorama - Blackout

This is just a short post of Maybelline's Blackout, which is a normal black with a glossy finish.
I found that I have really missed wearing just pure black nails. Black is probably the "color" I have used most throughout my life, specially in the earlier days. Black fits with everything and you can always use black as emergency solution. Now I'm more into colored polishes though :)
I am only wearing one coat.

As always I am posting swatch and nail art in separate posts, so I got another post for you right away...! ;)

Sally Hansen - Palm Treat

How I love this pistachio pastel green polish!
I got this one from MildH Beauty along with  Tahitian Summer and Vitamin Sea, and they turned me into a complete sucker for Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicures!

I have used three coats on all fingers EXCEPT middle finger which only has two coats so you could see the difference between coat 2 and 3. Not a big difference.

What I really love about these Sally Hansen's Salon Manicure polishes is pretty much everything. But to go more in detail it's the big size (14,7 ml), the wide brush, the shape of the bottle (sounds weird, I know!) the colors, the glossy finish and the cream formular. Uh, and the price. For that big bottle and that quality it's not expensive. I need more.

It's weird, cause I don't like fake nails (sorryyyy) (at least I don't feel like wearing it myself) but because these polishes have such a superglossy finish it almost give them almost a plastic like look, I still like them though. Edit: Love. This green one isn't as shiny as Vitamin Sea but it still is very shiny. I didn't use any top coat.

Thanks for reading!

Sally Hansen - Vitamin Sea

Hello everyone!
I got this lovely, superglossy, smurfy blue from Sally Hansen to show you today.
I took a lot of pictures in different places with different lighting, and as you are about to see, it looks great both in direct sunlight and shade ;)
I am also participating in July's 'Monday Blues', since I really like blue and it's also fun for you to see the others' works..
Look at how glossy this polish is! I am not wearing any top coat.
Indoor

I am wearing 2 coats.
Outside - in the shade
Outside - in the shade
Outside - direct sunlight
The bottle is 14,7 ml, it has a creamy formular, quick dry, easy application with the wide brush. And the color is amazing! There's really not any bad or even just average thing to point out about this polish.

Thanks for reading, see you soon again!
